Privacy Policy

This page explains what data MyPayCalc collects and why. In short: the calculator itself runs entirely in your browser and never sends the numbers you enter anywhere, and the only other data collected is anonymised, aggregate analytics used to understand how the site is used.

The calculator

Salary figures, country selections, and every other input you type into the calculator stay in your browser. They are never transmitted to MyPayCalc's servers or stored anywhere.

Analytics cookies

MyPayCalc uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and roughly how many people use the site. This can set cookies and collect information such as your approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and the pages you visit. It does not collect names, email addresses, or anything you type into the calculator.

If you are visiting from the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set after you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can decline, and the site will work exactly the same either way. Outside those regions, analytics may be active by default, consistent with Google Analytics' standard behaviour.

Other cookies

MyPayCalc also uses Vercel Analytics for anonymised, cookie-free traffic and performance monitoring. It does not use advertising cookies, and does not sell or share data with third parties beyond Google Analytics and Vercel.

Your choices

You can clear your cookie consent choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for mypaycalc.app, which will show the consent banner again on your next visit. Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely in their settings.
